"The Fairy's  Lullaby"

You spotted snakes, with double tongue,

      Thorny hedgehogs, be not seen;

Newts and blind-worms do not wrong,

Come not near our Fairy Queen.

      Philomele, with melody,

      Sing our sweet lullaby,

Lulla, lulla, lullaby,

Lulla, lulla, lullaby,

              Never harm,

             Nor spell, nor charm,

       Come our lovely lady nigh.

       So good night, with lullaby.

-William Shakespeare, English, 1564-1616

All my sculptures are OOAK art dolls. Pure hand sculpted of polymer clay over a wire armature per the manufacturer’s recommendation. Most of them are very detailed including the creases on the fingers and toes.

Very often they are anatomically correct. I believe in trying to be as realistic as possible, so I do sculpt genitals.

My creatures look at you with custom made glass eyes from 3mm - 5mm in diameter. The eyelids have real or painted eyelashes.

To make a realistic or fantastic hair look I use lamb wool, mohair, feathers or thread, etc.

My fairies have beautiful wings that are made from wire, fantasy film, 3d lacquer, liquid polymer clay (I prefer Fimo), silk, feathers, micro-beads, art powder, and other mediums that happen to catch my eye.

Sometimes the little fairies are fully dressed and sometimes they are completely nude or have a just little amount of cover.

I do not have a favorite or un-favorite part of the doll making process. Every step of the creation is done with joy, love and inspiration. You will be amazed with the colorful, realistic and anatomic details of my work.
